Ted, I believe the dems need to study the example of "socialistic" Sweden, where after the wealth tax now also the property tax on private homes will be abolished by Jan 2008. I lieu of that Sweden will introduce a fee - capped approx. 500$ max - to the local community.

For many communities, property taxes are the only they've got going. I am not sure they could live on $500 per property.
