You seem to have read a lot into what I wrote.

In fact, I went out of my way NOT to insult his son. It is not the son's fault that the father is feeding him BS, or at least not overseeing his education and pointing out the BS. I pointed out how his mis-education of his son will limit the son's future employment to either Big Oil or universities that are lax in their science standards. Up until the time when the son is out on his own, and sees the error of his father's ways. Then, he might expand his career opportunities.

If I raised my son to believe the world was flat, that bleeding was a proper medical treatment, that there was no such thing as germs, and that bathing was unhealthy, he would have a hard time finding employment in any scientific vocation. That is not insulting or offensive, but a fact.

Now, why don't you be a man, and admit you jumped to a conclusion that you could not back up.
