She's lying (what a surprise). I did not attend the San Francisco conference.
I posted on this thread several months ago that I called Matridigm and I asked for information regarding the company.
About 2 weeks later I received a package in the mail consisting of a folder stuffed with photocopies of the early Matridigm press releases. There was an amateurish, cheap four-page "brochure" in the package. I still have it..
The brochure size is about 6 x 11 1/2 in. On the cover there is a photograph of this goofy-looking guy in a dark suit (must be Jack King) running inside this huge watch gear like a squirrel in a cage. The caption reads: "2000 A.D. - a problem exists".
The back cover is black and has Matridigm's old address (Zitel bldg. in Fremont).
The brochure contains absolutely zero substance. There are two huge photographs. One of a rosetta stone, one of a runner passing a baton to another runner, and a strange drawing of a young man in a black suit crossing the tape at the end of a race. The photographs and the drawing take up 80% of all the available real estate, and for good reason, since the brochure doesn't say much. Basically it starts off with the same Y2K gobeldy gook about how mainframes in the 60's and 70's were programmed with 2 digit date fields, yada, yada, yada.
There aren't any pictures of the mobile code factories (chuckle).
This goes on for 10 short paragraphs. There is absolutely no pricing information. The last 5 paragraphs, on the last page, read as follows:

Send us your code. MatriDigm can process up to 50 million LOC in a week. This meands a solution in days or weeks, instead of months or years. In addition, our conversion service will integrate with your curent IS processes without sacrificing your current enterprise technology responsibilities.
The MatriDigm Code Analyzer captures the business rules and data interactions of each appoication in a unique hyperlinked data base. This allows MatriDigm to analyze your applications as a whole. As a result, MatriDigm is able to employ a unique data identification technique to find all of the date fields and logic within an application.
MatriDigm's year 2000 solution provides a 2-byte representation of a 4-digit date field (patent pending) that enables both converted and non-converted applications and data files to coexist in the same production environment. Additionally, moast existing data files and JCL do not require any conversion.
Because of this fully automated solution, the potentioal for human error is diminished and testing time and staff effort minimized. Finally, it incorporates a unique method of micro-testing (patent pending) that exhaustively tests all changes made. This ensures that returned code will function precisely the same as before, with the addition of being year 2000 compliant.
With MatriDigm, the year 2000 solution is fast and fully automated. Because you have selected MatriDigm, you can woin the race against time. That is what you need to know. Now.
