I"ll ask my friend if she has any advice.........she's an RN who was diagnosed with early stage lung cancer. She will be going on a cruise with me and another gal in early June. Three of us gals are hitting Greece and Venice! After the cruise we'll be staying in Venice in a building that was once a convent! I hope the walls don't collapse It sounds like your friend doesn't want to "reach out" too much which is fine. She may get to a point where she needs to and it could be hard for her. But, you don't have to cross that bridge yet so just be aware of it, as her friend. I had to learn to let people help me as I was fiercely independent . You're a great friend to her!! Glad you liked the CD. Sista Monica has a great voice and a lot of heart. When I first bought it she was sending some of the proceeds to the Susan B. Komen foundation for breast cancer. She still might be doing that. Alot of us are in this fight together! :>)
