4/13/07 Update
It was a stellar week for charity contestants, with the median for the 31 portfolios closing Friday up 8.79% YTD (vs. up 1.51% YTD a week ago). The increase for the Nasdaq Biotech Index was more modest, with the NBI closing the week up 3.13% YTD (vs. up 1.36%% YTD a week ago). At week's close, 23 of the 31 Contest portfolios were in the black and 20 of the 31 were beating the NBI.
PGONEIL's Dendreon-loaded portfolio remained in the lead, with a 30.9% YTD gain and MOPGCW held on to second place with a 25.0% YTD gain. But they have some stiff competition, with no less than 7 of the 31 Contest portfolios currently showing YTD gains above 20%.
Portfolio Adjustments: Thanks to Wilder's help, I reallocated the ADZA buyout cash to the other stocks in his portfolio.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
