Liar. Gore never called anyone evil. Bush sounded like he was trying to start a holy war against Islam by calling both Shia and Sunni nations "evil". That speech alone cost the US untold amounts of lives and treasure and was probably responsible for thousdands of new Al Qaida recruits.

So why did Bush make such a stupid speech? Because he was trying to copy Reagan's "evil empire" speech. That's the only reason. But Bush is not Reagan. He doesn't have any of the personal integrity Reagan had. When Bush says things like that he just sounds evil himself to most people, and he makes a lot of enemies.

Bush's "bring it on!" line also created thousands of new terrorists. The National Intelli9gence Estimate clearly says that Bush's Iraq misadventure has been a huge recruiting boon for terrorists. Bin Laden must be loving this Bush-Cheney regime. They're doing everything he'd want them to do and more.
