I guess it has always been contentious...but IMO, it has gotten so much worse. It's an odd thing... We always hear that the Dems hate Rove and Bush, but what we also hear is NOT Rove nor Bush say any of the hateful, spiteful, terrible things about any one... They leave that to the Dems. Really, Gore, Dean, Kerry, Beers, Huffn' Puff, Dowd, Durbin, Pelosi, Reid, Kennedy, etc etc etc...
The Repubs in charge of anything don't say anything like we hear from the Lefties.
Maybe the lefties don't know better...many of them certainly haven't learned any manners, or they wouldn't do it. |
