We have paid around $550 Billion + soooo many lives in Afghanistan and Iraq to be perhaps 1,000 fold less safe than we were before 9/11 - quite a legacy for GW and crew. The inflation adjusted cost of the Vietnam war was around $660 Billion. One more year and we've surpassed it.
