Addi, What happens if US Robtics's X2 modem becomes the standard and leave LU and Rockwell in dust? How badly (if any) ASND will be hurt from this? IMO, if ASND had good management, this would be immaterial. COMS would win, ROK and LU would lose and ASND would be fine. The technology that is important to ASND is the system that they install the modems into. As an analogy, if you put an x2 modem into a 386 PC, you still have a 386. Wouldn't you rather have that x2 modem in a Pentium II PC? ASND shouldn't have gotten caught in this pissing contest over 56k modems. That was a fight between COMS/USRX and ROK/LU. ASND was pissing into the wind and their shareholders got hit. Of course, Mory Ejebat doesn't seem too worried about shareholders at the moment. Hassell
