I am definately a bull on Corel and feel that the technical factors on this stock alone justifies massive buying in the next week. ($17.00 dollars looks fairly conservative in the next 5 weeks, however $25.00 is my target in 6-12 months.)

Lotus has just over 5% of the retail market excluding NT for the office suite. I'm not one to start rumors but I have heard mention that IBM is looking very seriously at Corel (I'm sure this is just a rumor but it seems to make sense to me. The question is "does the power to be at IBM feel the same way!")

I only hope that Cowpland realizes that he doesn't need to spend his bottom line to promote Corel WP 7 when his main marketing thrust is price. However, I'm sure IBM will straighten that out and that will leave Cowpland more time to concentrate on emerging technologies.

I am certainly not looking for Corel to make more than $.00 - $.05 a share this quarter. If it were not for his advertising commitments I would be looking for $.25 - $.35 a share for this quarter.

I don't blame any bears out there. You have to have a lot of confidence in a company that goes up against MicroSoft. It's a little like David and Goliath...but that was a myth...I think.
