If Harry and Nancy are our great hopes we are in real trouble. I suspect when they raise taxes back to the previous levels and CONTINUE to spend (does anyone actually believe Dems will cut a budget?) we will spiral into a deflation and the old misery index will become popular again. then Bush will look pretty damn good in hindsight. Matters little to me, I am retired, the major portion of my investments is in Investment grade fixed income securities, I'll probably be better off, but my fellow Americans wont feel so good about it. jdn
