Like the people who say Bush planned 9-11. Bush is not smart enough to plan 9-11. He let it happen though. He ignored the warnings. And he let Osama Bin Laden go. All that is proven fact. I think you are close, but no cigar! Cheney is the one who let it happen. He wanted a New Pearl Harbor to galvanize support behind his crazy schemes. From the very beginning Bush Jr. has outsourced the job of President. He wants the perks, but not the problems. He was more than willing to let Cheney run the government however he felt like. Even Bush Jr. is leery of Cheney's leadership now, and that is why he is looking for a new War Czar to replace his commander in chief role. Cheney had the job, and blew it! - BIG TIME TP
