Think we need a list of questions to ask a candidate for Congress aside from the questions of the moment regarding Iraq, war, Imus debate e.g.

Because of the political rhetoric that candidates use and the huge egos they have, it is hard to get to what they can and will do in their job as elected representatives.

Would like to hear an interview that concentrates on the basic essentials for being in Congress, and not about the hopes and dreams of candidates. In other words a lengthy job interview that reveals who they are---sounds rather elementatry.

1. What was your Profession before running for Congress or President. How will this help you in your job of Congressman.

2. What business training have you had?

3. Can you read and understand a balance sheet?

4. Were you in the military?

6. What qualifies you to serve in Congress or to be President

5. Why should I/we vote for you?

Add others as you wish---------
