Has anyone ever wondered, if their "god is great", how come he hasn't gotten around to silly easy things like ridding the world of "supernatural beings" or infidels, for that matter? Why go through all this fatwa trouble? It must be exhausting to follow, keep records, decide who is going to enforce fatwas, check up on them, reassign people if they aren't doing a good job, report back, compare budgeted cost vs. actual cost, etc.............
