Mr. Dabum - your thought on a CHK entry point here please.

I see:

1) breakout of the recent funk - $31.75ish,

2) Nov/Dec overhead resistance around $34,

3) MACD declining,

4) not very strong volume on the "beakout," and that is tailing off,

5) 50 Day MFP line declining, although the 20 day has had a nice ride.

In my mind, that is not a very firm technical case for a buy. I think the fundamentals look a little questionable - perhaps out good old "shoulder season sell-off" has been retired to the dustbin of investing history.

I still want to get much longer NG. CHK may not be the perfect vehicle right now on the technicals. I think XEC and EPEX make better technical cases.
