I've been taking a multi-enzyme formula with Betaine HCL while recovering from colon surgery. Also acidopholus. Recommended by my surgeon.

And I completely agree that eating well and exercising is the best way to stay healthy. That was my grandmother's strategy, and she lived to be 101 and a half. She didn't like it when we left off the "and a half".
