Some of that we already do. We as citizens can demand all we want, but in the end, the Dems do as they dang well please. Remember, my particular State is heavily Dems, especially 5 counties on the West Side of the Mountains....There are more people here in the 5 counties than in the rest of the state as a whole....Oregon is like this too....and California...is California. Heavy Heavy Lib in the SFO and environs area...and in and near LA...Orange county isn't as much.

CNN is really aiming for a World market...so basically doesn't give a darn about what we think in the US. CNN is in almost ALL the hotels around the world. CNN is in nearly airport around the world. Eason Jordan, former head of all CNN News worldwide, said a few years ago that he LIED about what Saddam was doing in Iraq....he wanted to keep his newsbureau there, and didn't want Saddam to harm his employees. In the meantime, Saddam was murdering hundreds of thousands of people, and CNN knew Saddam was doing that.

And several of us in a large group I strongly support, work with the VFW, USO, the Vets Hospital, and support our Military in any way possible....

What I really think, as I said to unclewest, all Americans (and Canadians, Australians, and people from the UK, and other Allies) need to understand just what the issues are, and what we PERSONALLY can do about it....

I gave some examples of how as a child, I felt I was "helping", in the same way that women knit socks, blankets, and whatever else, or rolled bandages, etc.....Those were solid, concrete, things we could do while our men were gone to war.

If we do have another major disaster here in this country, or in Canada, that kills hundreds of thousands or more, I personally think we will all understand the problem.

It would be my hope that we don't have to have that scenario before we really do understand....!
