Oh...well, I didnt realize that you had been there and inspected the place....

Err, as previously posted here, I think the FBI did that. Do you think there is 18-24 hr video documentation of prisoners chained in a fetal positions in hot and cold rooms? Or was that not necessary, since it was not an "interaction"? LOL!

If you think that all the things prisoners were subjected to in Gitmo are on video you are a fool.

I will admit that the US military is finally waking up to the problems, witness the recent relatively quick preliminary data on that Marine outfit in Afghanistan, where they shot up civilians (and imaginary AQ) for a few miles following a bombing. A month later and the company is booted out of the theater. Compare that to a prior wedding party we bombed there, or even Pat Tillman's death. Of course, it is a bit odd that more brass seem to be in hot water over Pat than the other prisoner scandals combined.

At least it is a much different response now than we had a few years ago, when primarily BS flowed from official channels. America is a great country, and in the end we generally do the right thing, but idiots can derail the process for a few years, especially when we elect them to the top slot of the country.
