Are you talking about the voters as 'Christian right' or the part of the political class which is Christian right ?

The neocons are domestic policy liberals, and on those policies they get some support from Corporate America.

The neocons ran a low profile on domestic policy in order for W to get elected. The neocons pretty much hid behind social conservatives like John Ashcroft so they would not be so visible.

The 'Christian right' is a small slice of the electorate, under 10%. There are Christian conservatives, 'centerists', liberals who favor government help to the poor, social liberals, and libertarians.
