For the umpteenth time, I am talking in practical terms while you are talking in lala land nonsense. Rightwingers are always long on theories which they don't understand but short on numbers and actual facts. I have offered many reasons why single payer, government run health care would be far superior than the chaotic mess we have today....including the fact that single payer would be much more efficient and would cover every American. The for profit health insurance industry is a scam in which ever increasing costs (up nearly 100% since Bush took office) are coupled with ever declining payouts (this is policy, not just by chance) in order to clean the clock of every middle class American. Do you work for the private insurance industry? Do you realize that Americans pay twice per capita for lousier outcomes in healthcare than other industrialized nations? Do you? IMO, it's evil to support for-profit when it's abundantly clear that non-profit will ensure that all Americans will receive all the healthcare they need throughout their lives. You might as well go out and bash random people over the head with a club because the result is about the same. Middle and upper middle class Americans are one serious illness away from bankruptcy. If they become ill they lose their job and eventually their (lol) 'coverage'. If they require expensive therapies (say $8K/month out of pocket for cancer) they are out of luck. The likes of you would probably have Americans die because, heck, they weren't smart enough to squirrel away millions in order to pay the inefficient, chaotic and frequently deadly (100K-200K deaths resulting from malpractice in the USA each year) health care system. You rightwingers blow up American taxpayer resources everyday in the chaotic, fradulent, corrupt disaster that is Iraq. You steal money from Katrina victims, you pollute the air and promote global warming. You cannot govern worth a dang and spend all your days wondering how to take what you didn't earn. Please go live on another planet. This little one needs better people to populate it.
