I live out here in Seattle...home of the PC gone amuck. But there is one thing I've enjoyed in the West...As a rule, there is by far less discrimination in the western states than there is in the eastern states. I've been in both areas and lived there. Most of the east still is discriminatory, where most in the west listen to what people say and do, then decide if the person is worthy. That has nothing to do with skin color, nor religion.
The Jews here are just like anyone else. So are the Muslims. Both groups have some speciality food stores. I support both and shop there too. The Blacks, Greens, Pinks, Purples, Reds, Corals, etc all get along fine....UNLESS someone shows their non-tolerance of others.
As far as your question. The Jews have been persecuted for centuries as a group. The Muslims have not beeen. They would not be even noticed today, had it not been for 9-11, AND THE FACT that as a GROUP, the Muslims have not come out AGAINST the Islamists vowing to kill Jews, Christians and Americans. When the Muslim population world wide decries the Islamists, the 90% of the Muslim population will again live in peace. It is the 10% of the Muslim population that is the radical piece of the group that causes the trouble for everyone else.
When have you heard Jews, or Christians, or any other groups, except Muslims, (New Black Panthers, Al Qaeda, Sadarists, etc etc etc) come to the microphones and say anything like the Islamists say??????? |
