This all goes back to the LGE takeover of Zenith Electronics. The Korean group under Koo got control of a simple majority of voting shares and took over the company. Taking over the company included the patents. Stockholders opposed the patents going to a foreign entity but were not sucessful. America let it be taken away under our laws. The Delaware courts ruled for LGE and Bon Mot Koo not for the American investors. Just another example of America giving away its technology. LGE will be filing patent law suits from now to eternity. I doubt that the Bush Administration has any idea of this story----------this goes back to Clinton Administration. Clinton did not support the stockholders. Nor did the American courts. Nor did the SEC, nor did the Congress. When will America stop giving itself away?? When will America change our laws to protect our companies and ideas----our patents. mj
