My Gt Gt Grandfather died young, barely got his youngest kids brought up, of course the last ones the twins were born when he was 61, and he died in his mid 80s. His son my great Grandpa was born in 1865 and was stuck down barely out of his youth in 1963, we thought it might be retirement that killed him, he weeded the local cemetery on his hands and knees after retiring from being a monument maker. Grandpa died young he was 92. He was in the bus and gas station business and a year and a half after retirement, he died. So what do all these men have in common, well like my Dad, he is only 88, they all gardened. They all ate what they grew, and except for dormant oil spray, they used no pesticides, or herbicides. They ate cheese and eggs and butter and had milk in their tea and cream on their pudding. They all wandered about a bit, on foot, just looking about. They all had tempers, but got over their anger quickly. They all loved being alive. They all knew their great grandchildren well, none of them ate margarine or MacDonalds or prepared food. All of them didn't mind a drink, but none of them drank a lot. They avoided Doctors. I am young yet, I go to see my doctor each time he moves his office. If you want to be healthy Grow food not lawns, use compost not fertilizer, and don't spray the grass.
I had my first earache the other day, and my parents drove me to the hospital, and waited with me. It is something when you are nearly 60 to have mom and dad take you to the hospital cause you have an earache.
Wanna be healthy, eat what your family ate in the old country, lots of it. but make it yourself. I even make my own bread. Be careful cleaning your ears though, hospitals suck. |
