You obviously didn't see the "Tomorrow's World" that featured the world's first cellular system, which was introduced in London, England, either in late sixties or early seventies.

Or what about the invention of anti-jack-knife braking systems for trucks (which we still don't have on many trucks here in the States but is standard in Europe)?
