I was thinking to myself, if even one student in that class that was basically slaughtered had a handgun MAYBE he could have created enough disturbance, if not taking out the gunman himself that the fellow would have fled. I subscribe to the adage GUNS dont kill people, PEOPLE kill people. I often carry a 45. but I would run away if I could before I would shoot someone, but if my back were against a wall I would use it. jdn
