Objectives
Century is currently a junior gold producer, with the objective to become a mid-tier gold producer with annual production of over 300,000 ounces of gold. In the longer term the Company’s objective is to become a senior producer with annual production of approximately one million ounces of gold
I smell dilution cooking, don't you?
Actually here is what I predict will happen this year:
1) Sigma-Lamaque will operate at or slightly above the 84,000 opy level. Production will be aided by contributions from the Sigma pit, Lamaque underground and the Lamaque West Plug.
2) Peggy is banking on adding Poderosa to the fold for 100,000 opy rate by the end of 2007.
3) Drill results at SJ prove up enough ore at high enough grade that plans to go to 80,000 opy are scrapped and a new mill is designed for build in 2008 - contingent on getting the plant on the national grid.
4) CMM does another deal to buy a run down producing property that has the potential to produce 100,000 opy. This will be in Peru.
