Everything is so damn complex, it is not black and white like many want to paint it..
I was so saddened today to hear about the VaTech massacre.. Something is terribly wrong when stuff like that happens, here or abroad, as it seems to happen all over the world, and unless it happens in one's own society, it does not seem to touch a nerve.. :(
If the WHOLE world, including US, were EVOLVED far enough, they, US, would call an International conference, on random and international violence and how to cure it, random racism and sexism (last weeks topic), the world's DIRE approaching environmental crisis, the world's health care crisis and on and on..
But I am not holding my breath, for most that dwell HERE and THERE do NOT give a damn unless any of the above bites them directly in the ass OVERNIGHT..
Sad but true.. :(
