More fudging, neolib, which conveniently ignores the existence of Clinton's bridging proposals at Taba, where the Israelis gave up Jordan river valley control (thus putting themselves back into a 9 mile wide country with no forward warning against attack, btw)

The Pals can't defend their refusal at Taba, so they always have to grab elements from earlier points in the discussion to say 'see how bad the deal was'? Which is aided by the fact that Arafat never made a single proposal or counter-proposal.
