A Candid moment: i have over past several years posted several distrbing studies, one the Milgram experiment in Obedience another the Zimbrado experiment of "guards and prisoners" and the argument that the U.S. and the world leaders falling into rule by the psychopaths(and that the U.S.society itself is morphing into a psychopathic "civilization").

One of the last things Kurt Vonnegut said in an interview was the all world leaders are psycopathic by nature.

i will state in bringing these essays and certain points , i have never once gotten so much as one word of response.

Even though i have posted then several times.

I frankly don't think they are even read as they are of length, require thinking and asking disturbing questions about ourselves.

To get read on these boards you need say something brilliant like CozmoKramer saying "Bush is a turd" and jjallen responding "You are sick, without Bush this country goes to hell".
Deviate into the nature of man, the nature of universe or the comical, but off political topic, and you are ignored.
i tried to introduce the single most important matter in the world of science today, and i will say the single most important matter in science EVER, the step, that however could not be taken without fitst having Newton and then Einstein.
But this too never received one comment, not one.

Truth is not many people want knowledge, nor , in general, want to think on dificult questions.

i will now say something grossly not politically correct, i was certified after an intense 3 hour study, at the age of 14, where my mind was challenged in many ways, as being a genius of the highest ranking. That of being a super super superior intelligence that could succeed at the highest possible level of anything i chose.
Why i had this test is a long story, but was why someone that could neither read nor write at 12(that being me), from a working class family was admitted into then the toughest prep school in the Philadelphia area.
i was top of my class my first term and then i started to rebel.
In a geometry test i wrote i am bored i don't feel like doing this test today, thank you, and handed in a blank paper.

When the test was returned the profesor, a fellow from Oxford, spoke that the fifth problem not one person got correct, and then he said "Master G********", would you come to the board and demonstrate the solution?"

i went to the black/greenboard and with chalk went quickly thru 23 steps and then wrote "QED".
He first simply said "You are correct" but as i returned to my desk he exploded(he had been on the Oxford Rugby team, and his exploding was an exploding:)
First came the chalk bombardment, and then the erasures, and as i calmly got into my seat, then came the pointers, thrown like he was throwing javelins, but at me specifically.

When he was out of objects he started to bellow "YOU BLOODY BLOODY BOY YOU COULD DO ANYTHING YOU COULD GIVE THIS WORLD SO MUCH BUT YOU AREN'T ARE YOU--YOU ARE GOING TO REFUSE TO, AREN'Y YOU?" i replied "Sir you are quite correct, i will refuse"

i reveal that intense personal experience now as i am so tired of these boards. So cognizant as to why i said "i will refuse". i have already come too realize virtually no one listens, and to be too smart in this world is dangerous, you are outsider, freak, something is not right about you.

But in the privacy of my ownself i never refused to teach myself(plus all women in my life have had to be able to keep up with me---that be three in my lifetimr, my present wife being my wife now for 39 years)---- i just don't share, and at 18 i decided all desire for fame was but because people feared death and anonymity intensified that fear.
This was thought was launched in my 18 year old mind on having read an essay by Einstein saying people think him heroic, but he says he was coward, that he sought his theories out of cowardice, he was an anonymous patents employee in a patents office terrified of death, and he thought if he did this, proved the ideas in his head, it would somehow raise him above the crowd, make him somehow, an immortal.*
Einstein wrote this in his years of despair on realizing it was his mind that gave the world the key to its own destruction.
i read this in 1959, it was to have a deep influence in how i chose to live my life.
*****************************************************
i have written this bit of autobiographical unseemly candidness knowing one it shall only be read by whom i am posting to(that is a compliment, btw:)
And as for those others that might read it, i suspect they will say, arrogant conceited idiot, thinks he is better than us.
That i think some of the least gifted people in world HAVE PROVEN they are GREAT PEOPLE, of the highest order, they would not understand this as in the main, they don't understand a damn thig i say anyway---LOL!!!! Max

* i was miffed in past that i could not retrieve this essay from anywhere, and then i found out the Einstein family did remove certain writings of Einstein from being ever available to the public----this was surely one of those writings that they arbitarily chose not to be allowed to be seen, this stunning act of honesty by this Great Man, Albert Einstein was thus put into hiding.
