Dear E: Most interesting story and chilling to say the least. Since I am a believer in the Hemlock Society and believe that when we are terminally ill we should be given a choice to end our lives at our discretion...where did your friend obtain the morphine... That is the most fantastic drug... I wonder what Anna Nicole Smith took.. Lately I had a nephew who overdosed on methadone and alcohol. He did not intend to die but he mixed the wrong combination.. Methadone used to be used in the clinic where I did drug counseling.. It was an aid to bringing addicts off heroin... and other drugs.
