In the meantime, the company altruistically proclaimed that it is not supportive of a planned platinum ETF miningweekly.co.za because "it would drive the price up" :0)

Translation, 'we love it, but we must say such nonsense to keep customers happy'.

Since we had first spoken about platinum back in the early 2000s, the metal has done a triple. Given its usefulness and rarity, I figure it can do another triple.
