It is common and perfectly acceptable to lobby for policies that benefit the Nation of Israel but it is not common or acceptable to oppose such efforts. To speak against support for Israel is seen as anti-Semitic (Meaning bigotry against Jews). Even the perception of Anti-Semitism is second to none as taboo in the US. In some circles it is seen as pro-terrorism to question support for anything that is in the interests of Israel.

Yeah, I understand that comment and have experienced it myself when I was advocating a united Pasrael as the peace solution for the ME. If you missed it, here's my peace solution!

And some posters here, especially Michael90210, accused me of being some type of six fingered demon that (I think) goes around killing Jewish kids, or something like that. Well, what can I say? They should stop that activity associating criticism of Israel with prejudice against Jews. There. But if you want to make that point, make it to those practicing that activity, not me. To the extent that I have an opinion on the subject, I like Jewish people, not that there are many around the neighborhood where I live.....
