I'm seeking a middle ground. Arming students is probably the single worst idea I've heard come out; in fact, it is probably the worst idea I've heard in years.

Banning guns is extremely unlikely. But, did he use a equipment that allowed him to shoot and reload more quickly that he shouldn't have had access to? If so, can this equipment be at least limited or tracked?
