Oh! I almost forgot- You might want to tell your friend my mother went to velcro shoes- since it hurt her to bend over for a while. I don't know if everyone has incision pain, but the lace up shoes didn't work for her, unless my dad did them for her- she couldn't pull the laces to tighten them. I don't know if others have had that experience. Gosh. The things you remember.
