Apparently, Shoe, you're the only person in Alaska who isn't obsessed with the gas line. When I was in Juneau in March, all anyone wanted to talk about was the line. All of the legislators were in the process of educating themselves about the minutia of tariffs and rates and etc etc. and that's all they wanted to talk about (frustrating for me as I had other issues I wanted to get into).

In fact I'm a little concerned that at this point everyone has an opinion on what the contract should be, so that nobody will be able to accept a contract put forth by anyone else. It'll be like a bunch of college professors coming to blows about the meaning of some 17th century poem; they're so into it and consider themselves such experts that noone will compromise.
