HJS - as the analyst said "Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Let's see how this plays out." My opinion is based on info coming direct from Cymer management - they will do considerably better than the market, and analyst group, is expecting.

- They will beat $.84 this year and $1.08 next year.
- Their growth rate will be much higher than 30%.
- They will command a multiple in line with their growth rate and their (true) projected 1998 EPS.
- Technology and momentum players will be scrambling to own CYMI.
- Hodess and Dheana(sp?) will be sheepishly trying to explain their previous analysis or they will be ignoring criticism or they will be laughing at all the $$ they made for their companies and key clients.
- They will become a "core" institutional holding.

At this point I have had to choose who to believe - the analysts who have ignored or have not sought CYMI direction, or CYMI management who have discounted all rumours and have painted a very pretty picture for the company and its future.

For CYMI to move as you expect, it would appear that management would almost have to be blatantly lying in which case they would be setting themselves up for litigation. However, you are entitled to your opinion. PS - did you ever provide the name of the mutual fund and/or the manager who (supposedly) had dinner with Akins?
