That perhaps you should click on the link to see if it checks out? FYI, here's another obviously fake quote from longnshort's link... CBS brass was forced to admit that Couric’s essay did not live up to the network’s standards. “The reminiscing Ms. Couric mouthed in her video essay was fake, but not accurate,” Sean McManus, president of CBS News, conceded. “Ms. Couric doesn’t really give a hoot about libraries. We shouldn’t be too hard on her, though. She is no Dan Rather. She is relatively new to CBS and obviously needs more time to fully absorb our culture.” Longnshort is a prankster who likes to cite fake stories like this. He also snookered a bunch of folks by spreading around an April Fool's story about a tax on barbecue CO2 emissions in Belgium. Edit: Longonshort may not be a prankster. Maybe he actually believes this junk.
