The most significant QCOM decline recently has been from the low 50s in May '06 to the low 30s in Aug. What Nokia "news" release or releases caused that? (Please be specific.)

rkral-

I am unable to be more specific because i don't keep copious files. Others like you have. I think I could have stated my "feelings" better. This is what I think of NOK...

deceptive
liars
purveyors of 1/2 truths
legal maneuvers designed to stall progress in resolving an issue(s) (IDC, QCOM)
stuck and fixated on old and inferior engineering
dishonorable company in a similar vein to their friend Siemens et al.

In some ways i don't fault the analysts because the subject is so complex. So NOK takes advantage of them by feeding them false information year after year. So the FUD accumulates and investors seek other avenues and sell QCOM resulting in downward pressure on the stock price.

To summarize, I am taking an overall view not pin pointing a NOK public relations piece to a specific drop in QCOM stock price.
