Big Funds, Not J5P move stocks.

Individual investors tend to overestimate how much impact they have on the stock market.

In fact, it's the big investors -- mutual funds, insurance companies, pension funds and banks -- that control 3/4 of the market's movement.

The big buying power of those professional investors can make or break a stock.

If they're grabbing shares, that demand can boost a stock's price. If they're unloading their position, their selling can send share prices tumbling.

So you need the big boys to make the big gains right?

You recently said:
let's just say religion is a belief and belief can be a religion

Phil says lose your opinion before you lose your money. Elroy recently talked about inflating "paper certificates" yet he is the one that told me that spain suffered inflation when shiny lumps of aztec metal came their way. Empirical proof that even gold backed money societies have not found the "holy grail" to inflation eh? It is not the solution.

Oscar the 25 year trading pro recently said he couldn't make money trading gold because it was too volatile. Which confuses me because I thought that volatility is what a trader needed most. Can someone clear that up for me?

Now I am no expert, but all the indicators below show me Russ got out at the top, things have moved sideways since he got out, and there is no real "trend" per the adx indicator going forward no? Perhaps we are in a long period of accumulation and new breakout to the up or down will happen soon, maybe some more experienced chart readers can tell me why this chart says GDX is a screaming buy here? Looks to me the recent price gain was not spurred by increasing volume. It looks to me now in fact would be a good time to short GDX and not go long - I am willing to be schooled - why does this chart say BUY GDX now? I am capable of losing my opinion. When Russ tells me he is taking a HELOC out on his house to buy GOLD coins I will give your "belief" more consideration.

Phil has been long GDX for a little while now and he likes W formations too - he also has been long CFC.
