I begin my reading posts starting with the last one I read and sometimes when I move along I find that the response I have written was all ready addressed..

However, I have come to this conclusion.

We cannot prevent American Citizens from having guns..
If we tried there would be a black market or under cover
operation as from my own family and from mulling over this issue for years I know Americans want guns.

So, I buy this.

Now, how best to go from there and insure that there is at least some control of a gun being sold... I go back to my argument that requiring an NRA course and permitting a person to carry a gun is the only way. It takes time, however, to take the course. Therefore, as someone pointed out to me last night, have an abbreviated course as the NRA requires a written test, a practice range course...etc. Maybe the requirements could be less.

Bill do you think Americans would buy this... ?
