It's too bad about the displaced. I'm sorry Bush went to war with Iraq and created the problem, but quite frankly I don't want a bunch of low skilled immigrants even if they are displaced because of Bush's war.

I guess waivers are ok, assuming we know what we're doing (and I suspect we probably don't) for the ones with high skill levels- but I don't want to see another debacle like bringing the Hmong here. Talk about mistakes. America is a carrot, which can draw the best and brightest. I don't think we really need to take everybody else. Give them humanitarian aid, and let them go elsewhere. There's no reason to punish the US in yet another way for Bush's mistakes, imo.
