Plays on copper: I searched semiconductor international's ads (http://www.semiconductor-intl.com ) for the keyword copper, and I came up with the following co.'s that have advertised since Nov. 1996: CVC (3 ads) CVD cluster tool ... see the ad at cvc.com I suppose CVC must be a privately held company ? .... Semitool shows a copper plated wafer in the July issue. Sez America (copper removal tool to eliminate Cu contamination on wafer backside) I think this must be an Austrian company .... And these companies, whose ads I can't see because I no longer have the paper hardcopy: Semitherm Schumacher Co. XMR Inc. FWIW, it seems that SMTL is the only publically traded company among these advertisers
