"Corzine should be cited for at least three violations."

1) The State Trooper driver was speeding.

2) Governor wasn't wearing his (required) seatbelt.

3) Idiot driver of the 'red pickup' says he pulled off the road, was 'looking down' (at what in his vehicle isn't specified), then 'looked up... saw he was about to hit a road sign, and then swerved back unto the road'. (OBVIOUSLY without checking his mirror for traffic in that lane first.) White car traveling in that lane then swerved to IT'S left hand lane to avoid hitting the red pickup.

So, CLEARLY, by HIS OWN WORDS, the driver of the red pickup wasn't looking where he was going (otherwise WHY pull off the road right in front of a traffic sign?)... He SAID he was 'looking down', remember? So he clearly wasn't looking at what was AHEAD of his truck as he traveled onto the shoulder.

He THEN made an ILLEGAL entry back onto the road, swerving into a lane of traffic without checking to see if it was clear.

Then he sped off....

4) The driver of the 'white vehicle' ALSO then made a *possibly* illegal lane change (he changed lanes without looking to see if the lane was clear first). If the red truck SUDDENLY pulled out (illegally) in front of him... then the driver of the white vehicle might not have violated any regulations with his lane change... IF, (& only if...) he WASN'T speeding too fast, or tail-gating too close to the traffic in front of him.

So, by my count, at LEAST three separate people should be charged... and *possibly* a fourth (driver of white vehicle), in his case depending upon facts not before the public.

But the OTHER THREE... the red truck driver, the Trooper/driver, and the Governor should ALL receive citations.

IMO however, the red truck driver shouldn't have a license if he isn't going to look at where he's about to drive his vehicle.... His was by far the worst traffic offense, followed by the Trooper's excessive and unjustified speeding --- while the seatbelt violation was the most minor of all.

It makes no sense at all to me why the red truck driver skied off with no charges.
