I tend to worry about my immediate interests more than the fate of society in general. My office is in a downtown area so there are a lot of bums. Also there are several labor ready type places and payday loan places in the area, which attract transients. I share the office with a criminal defense attorney, so of course his clients tend to be, well ... criminals.

Having a .357 magnum handy seems prudent to me. It fires a bullet at a very high rate of speed. If someone freaks out on our receptionist I can blow large holes in him.

The massacre really has nothing to do with any of that. The entire freaking nation could hold hands while singing kumbaya and it would do nothing to change my situation.

I am not a fearful person at all. However I am the type of person who would prefer to blow large holes in the torso of a dirtbag rather than risk having myself or an employee, friend or family member harmed.
