You could tell that Lakisha really put her heart and soul into that song. I think she can relate...... being a single Mom..... that (I think in her mind) was going down a dead end road. She has a fine voice, but she needs to lighten up and believe in herself. She comes off as being nervous, lonely, unsure, too serious and afraid and all of those emotions are holding her back. I doubt she can overcome this problem, but I hope she gets a meaningful contract out of her experience. It is a lot easier to belt one out in a recording booth.
