As a follow on to Don Green's request, does anyone know of a good way to do dialup with the MacBook Pro? Is a USB modem the only option? My father recently purchased the 15" model, and I was unaware Apple is no longer including modems built into them. He travels a lot and sometimes goes to places where they think broadband is a female rock group and wireless Internet is something restaurant workers use in their hair to keep it from ending up in the food. Dialup will be his only option there.

I see Apple sells a USB modem on their web site, but even the reviews there show and average of 3/5 stars on it. Some think it's great, others say it's horrible.

Any recommendations for dear ol' dad on using dialup if he has to with his MacBook Pro?
