We kids thought she was mean....but that is just because we were all girls and there were 6 of us....It was enough to make my Dad drink....BUT he didn't. Someone sent him a cartoon though...I kept it in my genealogy scrapbook....Two guys outside talking in front of a house, all lit up with Lights, music seemed to be blaring, signs in the front yard...6 Girls, come on in...free popcorn... We used to think Dad would be in a hurry to get us married off....but he didn't. Think for everyone of us, he had tears in his eyes as we walked up the aisle.
