You yourself wasn't willing to "turn the other cheek" when it came to Afghanistan ( Message 21180179 ), so why do you demand that from those who suffered worse?

I wrote the reason quite clearly in the post you bookmarked...see below. I am not a blind pacifist or against self defense, but even as we engaged in Afghanistan our military often spoke of measured, targeted response, mindful of "collateral damage". Truman's reasons for bombing Japanese cities were pragmatic, but if nuking the two cities with indiscriminate weapons is ok with you on the basis of retribution then you have failed your faith and it's presumed teachings in favor of vengeance. Iraq is another story all together...neither self defense nor retribution...the madness of the right.

A handfull of people came here and committed an act of terror...we went after them and their keepers. I was not for turning the other cheek on that one. Iraq had nothing to do with it. Even by your own prior sentence you admit that implicitly.

Either way, you're being a hypocrite, which of course is the only sin in the eyes of non-believers.

By your own posts, the scriptures prescribe that one can sin in one's heart, you have been sinning here like a drunken sailor.
