MM, I think people come from many strands of their backgrounds. You can start with DNA and then their parents and societies, birth order and lots of other things. Not to mention self-determination aka free will.

My point was that him being Korean is an important part of why he did what he did. It's a national stereotype, true, but stereotypes are generally true, which is why they are stereotypes. Which is not to say all individuals fit their supposed stereotype.

My objection is to the idea that him being Korean isn't a thing that should be mentioned or focused on.

Him being a bloke won't be focused on much because it's pretty much certain that such a bulk killer will be a male, which is just a stereotype, but nevertheless a stereotype. I don't get personally offended that somebody might say "Well, what can you expect from males?" It's true. That's what you can expect from males. Females don't get into rank and file with pikes and swords and go whacking their way across the steppes of Asia like Genghis Khan did.

That uncharming young man was more than likely a direct descendant of Genghis. Check his Y chromosome. He certainly wasn't a direct descendant of an elephant. They don't go in for mass killing [unless it's competing mating elephants and they have a poo-throwing trunk of remarkable ability].

It makes good sense to me that he was Korean.

The photo of him with his two guns is like a Japanese comic strip.

I suggest arresting anyone with their cap on backwards and putting them in prison for 24 hours.
