Shoot1st - It seems that we don't really disagree so fundamentally after all. Neither of us believes that doctors have all the answers, nor that alternative medicine is the only way. Sorry about getting the sex of your child wrong. Daughters are a great blessing. As far as polio inoculations go, it's really much less of an issue now. Even if they don't get the shots, children are very unlikely to be exposed to the disease, thanks to the good work of Jonas Salk and countless others, before and after him. - Allen
